Extraction

Is  more difficulty to remove the synthetic corks WINESPARK in comparison to the corks in cork?

The synthetic corks WINESPARKs seal the bottle in stronger way in comparison to the most greater part of the corks in cork. But once that the seal is broken, the cork should be  easier to extract. The irregularities of the neck of the bottle could make more difficulty the extraction of the synthetic cork. Accordingly we recommend the use of a waiter corkscrew that it engraves an ideal lever to break the initial seal and to remove the synthetic cork.

Are quality controls performed on the extraction?

Yes, test is conducted on the strength of extraction on every produced order. These tests are performed on an unity of automated extraction. The specifications of the strength of extraction that it balances the ability to maintain the seal, allowing the meantime to remove the synthetic cork from the bottle they are around the 25 - 35 kgf s The diameter of the neck of the bottle also influences it the strength of extraction.

Are The synthetic corks from 37 mms easier to be extracted in comparison to the synthetic corks from 44 mms?

In general the synthetic corks from 37 mms are easier to be extracted in comparison to those from 44 mms thanks to their length that reduces the contact between the same synthetic cork and neck of the bottle.

The synthetic corks WINESPARK s are more difficulties to be extracted when the bottle of wine is preserved in fridge?

Yes, but in marginal measure. Our studies show that after a refrigeration to 5° C (40°F) for 24 hours, the strength of extraction grows of only 1. 2 kg for the model TOP and of 6-8 Kg for the model Extra. Therefore can be said that the strength of extraction remains in the limits of the specific proposals and that the synthetic cork can be easily extracted from the bottle.

What is used for lubricating the synthetic corks WINESPARK?

To lubricate the synthetic corks WINESPARK is used a silicone for food use, similar to that applied on the corks in cork. A quantity determined of lubricant is measured and mechanically applied during the process of finish. The aforesaid quantity is constantly checked through measurements of the strength of extraction on the ended product. All the components used in the production of the synthetic corks WINESPARK are up-to-standard FDA and UE.

Can I use the normal corkscrews?

Winespark® can be drawn out with all the normal types of corkscrew: to butterfly, for waiter, to lever, to rapid extraction.
